Global Team Comments
I would like to take the opportunity to extend the NZ Team’s congratulation for the great success of UK’s walk of Iraq, you made us all proud, inspired, and motivated by your enthusiastic character. We will do our best to carry on the spirit of the walk and extend it to the other half of the world. I was inspired by the nobility of Nadia’s idea, not just for the reason of helping and contributing towards the life saving operations in Iraq, but also for the sentiment of walking together for the love of our beloved country, forgetting about our differences, and realising that every step counts towards the finish line

I just wanted to say congratulations to the UK team for completing the walk and on raising that amount of money. Wow! what an accomplishment! You should all be very proud. It’s really nice to see enthusiastic Iraqis from around the world eager to organise a walk in their city. I’m glad this was a success and hope our walk in NZ is just as successful.

I am grateful for the opportunity to help organize the walk in Canada that will hopefully lend a hand to the children, women and men of our homeland. This walk is now global, proving to the world that even though we do not live in Iraq, we still feel the anguish and sorrow of its people. This walk is for Iraq and the Iraqis, regardless of their beliefs and sectors. This is for Iraqi unity and in faith that one day our country will flourish and prosper in spite of what appears to be now. We are doing this in hope that Iraqis will one day live in harmony, and in hope for a peaceful Iraq…because “where there is life, there is always hope”.
