  • 11.11.2007 - The End of the 2007 Campaign

    Refugees international (RI) has confirmed that RI’s financial office has received the money raised by Walk for Iraq NZ. The 2007 campaign has successfully raised 21,939 NZD  (18,085 NZD cash donations and 3,854 NZD  on-line donations) for the Iraqi Refugees. This marks the end of the successful 2007 campaign.   • 11.08.2007 - Walk Day

    56 enthusiastic walkers from all ages, cultures and religions took part in a challenging 20 km walk from Browns Bay to Devonport (North Shore City Coastal Walk) to fund lifesaving humanitarian assistance and protection for the Iraqi Refugees in the Middle East. Demonstrating his support for this great cause, the group were joined in the first hour by the Minister of Ethnic Affairs, Chris Carter.   • 01.06.2007 - The Start of the 2007 Campaign

    Following the UK Walk footsteps, Walk for Iraq (NZ) campaign has started and set the 11th of August as its date for the walk. It has been agreed that the funds raised will be donated to Refugees International work for the Iraqi Refugees.
